    Malaysia's Wushu Star Tan Cheong Min Wins Silver in Asian Games Debut

    Malaysian Wushu sensation Tan Cheong Min made an impressive debut at the Asian Games, securing a silver medal at the Xiaoshan Guali Sports Centre on Tuesday, September 26th.

    Cheong Min, who currently holds the prestigious title of reigning world champion in the nandao discipline, showcased her exceptional skills in the nanquan and nandao all-round event, amassing a total score of 19.419 points.

    Hailing from Melaka, Cheong Min had already displayed her prowess earlier in the year by clinching two gold medals for Malaysia at the Cambodia SEA Games in May.

    However, the top spot in the nanquan and nandao all-round event was secured by China's formidable athlete, Chen Huiying, who claimed the gold with an impressive combined score of 19.590 points.
